Welcome to Jua Kenya, an educational puzzle game that teaches Kenyan geography through interactive map puzzles. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jua Kenya mobile application (the "App").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Some features require internet access and may not be available offline.
You may use the App with an anonymous account and, where available, an email/password account. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
You may delete your account through the App's Settings screen or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt fraud, or create security or legal risk.
Uzalendo Points, coins, streak freezes, hints, cosmetics, inventory, achievements, and similar items are virtual features with no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred, redeemed for money, or exchanged outside the App.
The App may show optional ads or rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may grant in-app benefits only when the reward conditions are met. Ad availability is not guaranteed.
The App does not currently process direct payment card information. If paid digital purchases are introduced, they will be processed through Google Play or another approved platform billing provider, and platform refund rules will apply unless applicable law requires otherwise.
The App, software, artwork, interface, audio, branding, and original content are owned by JDL Enterprise or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App without permission.
Geographic names, boundaries, and public geographic facts may be based on public sources. We do not claim ownership of public government data, but the way it is selected, arranged, presented, and implemented in the App may be protected.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to improve the App.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
The App uses third-party services such as Supabase, Firebase, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, and Google Play. These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except where required by law.
We may update, suspend, remove, limit, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We may also rebalance gameplay, rewards, points, coins, ads, difficulty, levels, or leaderboard rules to protect fairness, security, or product quality.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and availability of any feature or data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JDL Enterprise will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the App.
Our total liability for claims related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid to us through the App in the 12 months before the claim, or KES 1,000 if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires a higher amount.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Courts in Kenya will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights in another location.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
